We will rid the world of single use plastics
We want to get people excited about Plastics Recycling. To turn the tide of plastic that is blighting our landscapes and polluting our oceans. We would look to utilize the most high tech sorting and recycling machines available.
We want to build a community based, not for profit plastics recycling plant to increase the UK's plastics recycling capacity, reduce the plastics waste and protect our wildlife and environment. This is our mission and our dream.
This will be the UK's first ever community based and not for profit plastics recycling facility. Any profit over cost will then be used for other environmental projects as well as increasing the capacity for Plastics Recycling in the UK so we are not sending our rubbish just to end up strewn across developing countries in Asia.
Plans are being put into place to apply for seed capital to kick start the project, these include Blockchain funding, an Initial Coin Offering (launch a cryptocurrency)... This could also include social crowd funding.
It is essential to have the right team in place for this type of unique project. This would include: Engineers, Environmental Scientists, Plastics Experts and Marketing Professionals. In the early stages theses wold be sub contractors rather than employees as needs would be to keep the costs down.
This is crucial, we do not want to have a site which would impact the natural environment or cause any significant increase in traffic. especially of heavy good vehicles.
This facility and organisation will be run on a not for profit basis. Any excess funds after costs will be used to fund other project which are not limited to just environmental. but those small local projects that have a positive impact on the community and to peoples lives.
Our process will engage as much sustainable and environmentally sound techniques and services, these would include the use of renewable energy to power the machines,, low carbon transport vehicles, and much more.
We are focused on developing a sustainable organisation with minimal environmental impact, use of renewal energy and, reduce waste and pollution from the recycling process and generate sustainable jobs in the local community.
